Types of Traditional Archery Supplies: 

Traditional Archery Bows 

These bows tend to come in recurve or longbow formats.  The difference is the longbow is a slightly longer bow that has the picturesque single curve where the ends end back to you.  However, a recurve bow has a double bend on the ends that allows it to generate greater force eventhough it is smaller.   The prices for this can vary considerably depending on the wood used and other materials.  You can reasonably expect to pay between $500 and $1,000 for either type of bow.  In addition, there may be additional costs tacked on for the additional of more elaborate handles.   

Traditional Archery Arrows 

These can take many forms depending on how traditional you want to get.  There are a number of suppliers that make the standard custom wooden arrows; however, you can also easily find aluminum and carbon arrows.  In addition, you can find arrows that are suited for children as well.  The traditional custom arrows tend to run you about $100 to $150 per dozen, but the aluminum and carbon arrows will run around $125 up to $175 depending on the supplier.  Children’s arrows can usually be purchased for under $40 for a dozen.  Also, recognize that you can often get discounts if you buy in bulk.   

Traditional Archery Quivers 

These are generally made of a high quality leather than can naturally be worn over the shoulder.  Depending on the model, they may be able to handle heavier arrow points like broadheads.  Regardless, prices can vary but you can reasonably expect to pay $45 to $80.  

Traditional Archery ArmGuard 

You will find several variations; however, most tend to be made of cowhide with leather straps or some type of elastic bands.  Just about all the models can be found for under $25.00. 

Traditional Archery Accessories 

These can include a number of shooting accessories including shooting gloves, bow stringers, custom strings, and more.  Depending on your own preferences, you could choose to add a few of these items.  Most cost a small amount of under $20.
